Live a little!

Pam contracted amoebic dysentery through contaminated drinking water. She was treated with strong antibiotics that induced a coma. The doctors realized she was also pregnant. Fearing that the infection and antibiotics had done irreversible damage (they actually thought the baby would be a stillborn), the doctors recommended aborting the pregnancy to save Pam's life. But she was a Christian missionary. Christian and abortion are words that didn't mix. She was prepared to die if that's what was being asked of her. Pam didn't die; neither did her son. He went on to becoming a missionary himself... and a surgeon (haha but only in the Philippines), a Heisman Trophy winner, a two-time BCS National Champion, and started two games at Quarterback for the Denver Broncos this year. His name is Tim Tebow...

and unfortunately, we couldn't get him to come speak at UW Campus Based... at least not this week. haha

BUT

Our speaker this week is also a pro... pro-life! and is just as good!!! So if MATH 307 (Diff Eq) or CHEM 238 (O Chem) is making your life miserable, come to UWCB 126 (Awsm... yes... that stands for "Awesome."). 6:15 PM at Loew 111 (right across from the HUB). When is UWCB 126? On January 26 (Wednesday)!

So come on, and live a little and take a break from the daily grind. (Did you see what I just did there? haha). God bless!
